Deeplinking in Dash:
Users can now open files directly in desktop applications like Microsoft Word, Zoom, and Dropbox, bypassing the browser for a faster, more seamless experience. Learn more here.
Access Dash search directly from your browser:
With the Dash browser extension installed, users can easily conduct searches in Dash directly from the search bar in Chrome or Edge. Just type ds followed by your query to access recent docs without breaking your work flow. Learn more here.
Email domain allowlist for connected apps:
Admins can now control which email domains users can use for connected apps, ensuring only company-approved accounts are linked to Dash while restricting personal accounts like Gmail for added security and data control. Learn more here.
Meaningful stack updates:
Previously, any operation performed by the user would trigger a “last updated” refresh to a stack. Now, only meaningful operations, listed below, will register an update to a stack. Learn more here.
- Renaming a stack
- Updating a stack description
- Creating or deleting a stack item
- Changing the color or emoji of a stack
- Archiving or unarchiving a stack
- For stack items, the timestamp updates when the underlying document changes.
Guided install for Dropbox & Google Drive:
Admins can now connect Dropbox and Google Drive to Dash with a new guided install experience—eliminating the need for service accounts, improving security, and streamlining setup. Learn more here.
